The appointee should possess a degree in Law, and have significant professional experience in civil and/or criminal litigations in the legal sector and hold a current practising certificate as a solicitor or barrister of Hong Kong. The appointee will be responsible for teaching in CLE Programme or other law courses; organizing and supervising the daily administration of the CLE Office, organizing and administering the FLAS; acting as volunteer lawyer of the scheme providing legal advice to participants of the scheme; offering further assistance to participants of the scheme in exceptional cases and providing guidance and training to the CLE students.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary for Assistant Lecturer and 15% for other positions. Other benefits include annual leave and professional leave, medical benefits, and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries. Housing benefits will be provided to Principal Lecturers and Senior Lecturers, as applicable.
