Department Summary

The Department of Anthropology is dedicated to better understanding human cultural and biological origins and diversity through education and research. Position Summary

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon is soliciting applications for its pro tem instructor open pool. Positions are limited-duration appointments (typically one academic term of 10 weeks) potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding, and performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Anthropology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Anthropology or related field
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses in Anthropology
