The University is seeking to appoint an outstanding strategic leader as Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement. A member of the University Executive, the successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Bangor’s global engagement strategy, playing a central role in shaping its international future. This will include assessing, enhancing and expanding transnational education partnerships, driving international student recruitment across established and emerging markets and exploring new opportunities for growth, including innovative new delivery models.
The successful candidate will bring significant senior leadership experience within a complex organisation, with a proven track record of delivering international strategy and building high-value global partnerships. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of global higher education markets and trends, alongside the credibility and influence to operate effectively at the most senior levels. As a highly visible ambassador for the University, they will be an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, capable of inspiring colleagues and representing Bangor on the international stage.
