Your opportunity
As a Procurement Services Officer, you will process high-volume procurement transactions, provide expert procurement advice and support stakeholders in navigating procurement policies, systems and processes. Responsible for working with an allocated client portfolio you will build strong working relationships, deliver high quality customer service, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and service outcomes across the University.
This role suits a motivated, collaborative professional who takes ownership of their work and is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality procurement services.
You will make an impact by:
Providing timely, accurate procurement advice and support to stakeholders across the University
Processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier records information accurately and efficiently
Delivering training and guidance to support effective use of procurement systems and processes
Building strong stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities to improve procurement services and outcomes
What you will bring
You are a customer-focused and self-motivated, and team oriented professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. You collaborate effectively with colleagues, take accountability for your work, and enjoy problem solving which supporting stakeholders to achieve compliant and effective procurement outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will also need:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement administration or similar function
Strong data entry skills and the ability to accurately process high volumes of transactions, whilst also adding value by seeking the best purchasing outcome for the university
Capability to interpret and apply procurement policies, procedures, and legislation, to provide clear, accurate advice to stakeholders in a procurement and financial services context
Experience working with procurement, finance systems or large-scale ERP platforms
Be self-motivated collaborative team player who actively contributes to a positive team environment. You work effectively with colleagues, share knowledge, and support team priorities.
A desire to seek ways to add value beyond the core processing element of your role.

Your opportunity is:
Full-time, continuing (permanent)
Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $75,500 – $81,079 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $94,862.
