The Harvard Library Innovation Lab (LIL) seeks a Product and Research Manager to help build tools and communities for open knowledge. Located at the Harvard Law Library, LIL is a collaborative lab focused on re-envisioning how knowledge is created, preserved, and accessed.
As Product and Research Manager, you will:
- Serve as product owner for a portfolio of research and development projects.
- Work with the Product and Research Director, engineering team, and researchers to prioritize efforts.
- Participate in user outreach and community development, including social media, blog posts, and coordinating events.
- Support and represent projects as an ambassador to partners.
- Provide tier-two product support.
- Report on user engagement and usage statistics.
- Draft product briefs to capture objectives and risks.
- Run business analyses to define markets and quantify opportunities.
Qualifications include a minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant experience, passion for libraries and information architecture, and experience with the full product development life cycle.
This is a two-year term appointment, full-time, fully remote, with potential for renewal based on funding and need.
