Serve as the point of contact for LR offices and units using C&E-managed performing arts venues on campus regarding production management.

Implement and monitor safety and fire prevention practices in all C&E event spaces.

Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations for productions managed through Conferences and Events, including ADA guidelines, copyright laws and safety guidelines.

Oversee, operate and maintain all sound, lighting, rigging and other stage equipment in all C&E-managed venues on campus.

Serve as lead technician in facilities supported by Conferences and Events. Communicate through event reports to ensure problems are corrected.

Hire, train, manage and supervise Conferences and Events production student employees.

Maintain a database of work-study students.

Maintain a database of outside contractors. Hire and manage contractors, and ensure invoicing and payments as needed for events on campus in C&E-managed venues.

Serve as the technical liaison between LR departments and internal and external groups using spaces for events.

Serve as the technical advisor and review technical riders for all artists, speakers and groups using Conferences and Events facilities.

Staff events as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
