L’Université TÉLUQ, an institution of distance university education, is seeking to fill a regular position for a professor in information technology.

Sommaire de la fonction

The professor assumes responsibilities in teaching, research, and community services related to the position. Specifically, according to established practices in distance education, the professor:

• Handles teaching tasks in courses related to the position;
• Reviews and develops courses in information technology management;
• Intervenes in undergraduate and graduate courses and programs;
• Pursues research activities in their field of specialization;
• Fulfills administrative and community service tasks as per the collective agreement;
• Collaborates in the academic life of TÉLUQ.

Expérience

Candidates must demonstrate their ability to teach and develop courses in the field of IT. Experience in teaching IT courses and research in a university setting. Have submitted or published articles in peer-reviewed journals in IT. Experience in university teaching. Excellent command of the French language and strong written communication skills. Experience in distance education will be considered an asset.

Formation

Hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a doctorate in information systems or information technology, or in a closely related field.

Durée de l’engagement

Regular position leading to tenure.

Traitement

According to the collective agreement for professors in force.

Lieu de travail

Québec or Montréal, remotely.
