Offer Description
1. one teacher (m/f) to the professional employment position of Professional Associate in the system of science and higher education for the scientific area of Biotechnical Sciences, scientific field of Agriculture, for work on the project "Korak u Karijeru", at the Biotechnical Department of the University of Slavonski Brod (temporary position (24 months), full-time);
In addition to the general conditions as stipulated in the Labour Act (Official Gazette 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22. and 64/23), the candidates for the position must meet the conditions as stipulated in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act (Official Gazette 119/22), the Statute of University of Slavonski Brod, and the Ordinance on the Election/Re-election to Titles and Corresponding Employment Positions of University of Slavonski Brod. The Statute, the Decision and the Ordinance are posted to the website of University of Slavonski Brod (www.unisb.hr).
Candidates for the position under Ad. 1., shall apply to the Open Call while mandatorily providing the documents pursuant to Form 1: Application to the Open Call for election to the scientific-educational employment position of Associate Professor - Prijava na natječaj za izbor u znanstveno-nastavno radno mjesto izvanrednog profesora.
Candidates for the position under Ad. 2., shall apply to the Open Call while mandatorily providing the documents pursuant to Form 2: Application to the Open Call for election to the scientific-educational employment position of Assistant Professor - Prijava na natječaj za izbor u znanstveno-nastavno radno mjesto docenta.
Candidates for the position under Ad. 3, 4 and 5. shall apply to the Open Call while mandatorily providing the documents pursuant to Form 5 – Application to the Open Call for election to the professional employment position of Professional Associate in the system of science and higher education – Prijava na natječaj za izbor na stručno radno mjesto stručni suradnik u sustavu znanosti i visokom obrazovanju.
Candidates for Ad. 3, 4 and 5. who meet the formal requirements of the Open Call and have submitted the required documentation shall be subjected to obligatory testing (interview) of their expertise and motivation. Candidates will be notified of the time and place of the interview via email. Candidates who do not attend the interview will be considered to have withdrawn their application. These forms are posted to the website of University of Slavonski Brod (www.unisb.hr).
The Open Call candidates of foreign nationality are required to provide a proof of the Croatian language proficiency pursuant to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (C2 level) and must enclose a certified translation of foreign higher education qualification. The individuals of either gender may apply for the job opening under the same conditions. Late or incomplete applications shall not be taken into consideration.
The Open Call candidates who, on the basis of special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, and 156/23), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette 84/21), Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, and 32/20) – exercise the right to benefit, are required to indicate this right in their application and to enclose all evidence prescribed by the relevant regulations for exercising this right.
These candidates have an advantage over the other candidates only under the same conditions.

Candidates express their full consent that their personal data may be collected and processed with a purpose of Open Call procedure implementation, pursuant to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
The candidates must obligatorily enclose the signed Consent form (with No. of Open Call and detailed Ad.), which is available at www.unisb.hr. If the named Consent is not part of the application, their application will be considered incomplete.
All candidates will be informed (also via e-mail) of the results of the Open Call after its completion.
