Job Profile: Outreach Program Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Professional Learning (PL) Coordinator is located within the Educator Learning, Research, and Practice (ELRP) department and reports to the Assistant Director of Professional Learning Operations. This position collaborates with the Assistant Director of Professional Learning Operations, the Assistant Director of Delivery, Professional Learning Coordinators, and cross-functional partners to coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of WIDA's professional learning portfolio. The coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for State Education Agencies (SEAs), contractors, licensed vendors, and other partners, providing responsive customer service, maintaining a working knowledge of WIDA's professional learning portfolio, and coordinating professional learning engagements from planning through delivery.
The PL Coordinator manages professional learning schedules, calendars, facilitator assignments, participant enrollment, webinar logistics, event communications, and other operational processes that support virtual and in-person learning opportunities. The coordinator coordinates professional learning engagements involving WIDA facilitators, contractors, and licensed vendors, maintains professional learning engagement information and operational data in Salesforce, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure professional learning engagements are delivered efficiently and in alignment with established processes. The position exercises independent judgment in coordinating multiple concurrent engagements, resolving scheduling and operational issues, and providing webinar moderation support to ensure successful delivery of virtual professional learning events.
Remote work is an option for this position on a voluntary basis; however, due to UW policy and travel expectations, this position requires living in Madison, WI, or the surrounding area, as occasional on-site work at our Madison office will be required.

WIDA operates in a Windows-based environment and a Dell PC laptop will be issued for use in this role. Software and virtual connection tools that are critical to our work dictate that WIDA staff work on a PC.
