Established by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) in 2010, Tung Wah College (TWC) is a self-financing degree-granting institution registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320). TWC aims to provide high quality tertiary education to nurture competent, socially responsible and caring professionals.

The School of Management seeks a Professor and Dean to report to the Vice President (Academic), leading innovative undergraduate programs such as the Bachelor of Health Information and Services Management (Honours) and the Bachelor of Management (Honours) in Social and Business Sustainability. The role involves driving the development of new programs and short courses that respond to global trends and societal needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the educational, research, scholarly, and public engagement activities of the School, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and goals of the College.
• Manage the School's resources to support growth and enhance academic offerings, including new undergraduate and postgraduate programs and short courses.
• Collaborate with the President and Vice Presidents to advance the university’s vision through academic business plans and strategic initiatives.
• Enhance the research culture and output by fostering collaborations and organizing conferences.
• Oversee academic activities, including program development, quality assurance, student recruitment, and initiatives for whole-person development.
• Engage in professional service to external organizations and provide public services to the community.

Requirements:

• A PhD or Professional Doctorate in Management or a relevant discipline.
• Significant experience in tertiary education, particularly in program development, student recruitment, and leadership.
• Proven track record in research leadership, including building teams, mentoring staff, securing funding, and managing projects.
• Demonstrated publication record in high-impact journals with international recognition.
• Success in establishing industry partnerships at local, regional, and international levels.

Fixed term contract with possibility of renewal. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
