Applicants must show a strong interest in teaching as well as a high-level scientific record in accordance with UGA’s ambitions. Educational expectations
The successful candidate will be required to teach various courses at the Grenoble Faculty of Economics, including in the Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management (at the Grenoble and Valence campuses), in the Bachelor's degree in MIASHS (Grenoble campus) and the Master's degrees in MIASHS with a specialisation in Business and Data Analysis and in Environmental, Energy and Transport Economics (Grenoble campus). They will teach applied economics (in the fields of environment, energy and business), microeconomics and econometrics.
They will be required to conduct interventions and/or disciplinary teaching in English.
An investment in the organisation and operation of Bachelor's and Master's degrees is expected. This includes, in particular, taking on teaching responsibilities, providing educational support to students (e.g., by supervising tutored projects, monitoring internships and work-study programs, supervising dissertations), as well as developing innovative educational projects and international cooperation.
Research project and scientific impact:
- The successful candidate will conduct their research at the Grenoble Applied Economics Laboratory (GAEL). The position is intended for a researcher with significant experience in microeconomic research in fields related to one of the laboratory’s three main thematic areas: consumption, energy, and innovation.
- Research methods may be theoretical — including industrial organization and decision theory—and/or empirical, — including applied econometrics and experimental economics. Experience in coordinating research projects will be highly valued. An interest in interdisciplinary research will also be appreciated.
