Position Summary
The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) and the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) at O.P. Jindal Global University invite applications at the Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor level. The positions are for the following specialisations:
- Political Analytics and Psephology
- Big Data in Elections
- Election Management, including:
- Campaign Design
- Monitoring
- Finance
- Risk Management
- Communication
- Election Law
Roles and responsibilities
Faculty members will be expected to follow the roles and responsibilities below.
- Teaching and Advising: The primary responsibility of this position is to teach and advise university students in the management and analysis of elections.
- Research: The position requires conducting high-quality research in election management and analysis, contributing to scholarship and practice in this field.
- Academic Administration: Successful candidates will be required to contribute to academic and institutional responsibilities, including service related to programme development and administration.
- Teaching Load: Appointees will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate students both in residential and online programs. The teaching load will be commensurate with the appointment.
Basic Qualification (Required at the time of Application)
- A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
- Relevant Teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate levels.
- Experience in undertaking high-quality independent research and its dissemination in peer-reviewed journal articles, manuscripts, working papers, and policy briefs, among others.
