Professor/ Associate Professor, Information Systems & Analytics

Job Description

The NUS Department of Information Systems and Analytics invites applications for Practice-track positions at the Associate Professor and/or Full Professor level. Applicants should have demonstrated excellence and significant impact in their field or industry, with recognized professional leadership and/or intellectual authority. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in one or both of the following areas:

• Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship
• Financial Technology (FinTech)

Marks of distinction may include:

• Recognized authority in the computing field
• Founder or leader of a major business or non-profit organization
• Senior leadership roles in IT companies or government agencies

Practice-track faculty are expected to contribute to the educational mission of NUS through teaching, alongside active engagement in professional practice in computing or IT sectors.

Qualifications and Expectations:

Applicants should hold a degree in computing or a related STEM field and have approximately 8–12 years of professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate distinction and impact in the computing/IT industry, along with established intellectual authority, recognized leadership, and a strong regional or international reputation. Successful applicants are expected to continue practicing in their field to bring forth industry relevance and value-add to educational, research and service initiatives and activities in NUS.

Prior teaching experience in degree programs, executive education, or continuing education is preferred.
