Duties
We are seeking an exceptional program leader with profound expertise across interdisciplinary fields—AI, business transformation, disruptive technologies, entrepreneurship, geopolitics, and global business strategy.
We are looking for a visionary to drive the establishment and strategic direction of a new cross disciplinary framework, integrating cutting edge theory with real world practice to foster innovative academic collaboration.
The successful candidate will lead programme development, teaching, and strategic leadership within an interdisciplinary postgraduate environment. The appointee will be based in the Department of Management pending the formal launch of the new unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the strategic development of new University-wide initiatives in executive and interdisciplinary postgraduate education;
- Oversee postgraduate programmes, ensuring quality for both executive-level and early career professionals;
- Lead curriculum innovation, bridging theory, practice, and cross-disciplinary perspectives;
- Identify and engage adjunct faculty and distinguished guest speakers from industry;
- Deliver lectures, providing students with practical insights;
- Spearhead programme marketing and student recruitment;
- Manage daily administration and class operations; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates must have a doctoral degree. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant fields. Teaching experience at postgraduate and executive levels is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership and contribution to the profession, industry, or academic community. Based in Hong Kong with occasional travel to the Chinese Mainland. Able to commence duty as soon as possible.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.
