The University Professor will be involved in teaching in the Bachelor’s and Master’s courses. They must be able to teach electrical engineering and power electronics in the broadest sense to Licence and Masters students. The successful candidate will also have to demonstrate an ability to manage the electrical engineering programmes within the PhITEM (Physics, Engineering, Earth, Environment

Scientific profile
Fully integrated into the international, national and local industrial and academic fabric, the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory deals with issues relating to the use of electricity as a driving force in tackling societal challenges such as the energy transition, digital technology, health and the preservation of resources. The laboratory is organised around 5 teams covering a range of disciplines, from materials to systems and electrical engineering components. The recruited professor will have to fit into this environment in order to develop internal and external interactions and propose research topics in line with the laboratory's objectives. In this context, all proposals addressing the problems of electrical engineering for energy will be studied. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the research activities of the team to which they will be assigned and will be responsible for initiating projects to structure the site in order to bring together the various local players and position Grenoble at national and international level as a leader in its field.
