(Base Salary: W 2) Part-time employment is possible.
Your tasks:
- Teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas of informatics and all courses of study in the Department of Mathematics, Informatics, Technology, in particular fundamentals in informatics and mathematics, as well as in advanced topics in informatics
- Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
- Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.)
- Participation in academic self-administration
Your profile:
- Professional expertise in the teaching area informatics
- specialisation in an area of applied informatics such as IT security, software architecture, hardware-related programming, database systems
- Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
- Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
- High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
- Fluent in German (minimum C2-level) and in English (minimum C1-level)
The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
