"Professor in Architecture"

The School of Architecture at the Université de Montréal contributes to research and education in quality, sustainable, and inclusive architecture. It is accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board.

Day-to-day responsibilities: Teach lectures, studios, and seminars in Bachelor, Masters, and PhD programs; develop an original research program focusing on architecture, accessibility, and inclusive practices; supervise Master’s and PhD students; contribute to the visibility of the discipline through conferences, publications, and scientific activities.

Qualifications: Hold a Ph.D. related to architecture (candidates who have submitted their thesis will be considered); hold a professional degree in architecture; demonstrate high-quality university teaching ability; possess an excellent research and publication record; have knowledge applicable to the North American context; demonstrate potential for collaborations; assets include professional experience with emerging technologies, awards, contributions to public policy, and commitment to inclusion; ability to work in a team; proficiency in French or commitment to learn it.
