Professor in Electrical Engineering - Systems Embarqués
L’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is seeking professors with a background in engineering and expertise in embedded systems. The role involves teaching at all university levels in electrical engineering, particularly in embedded systems; supervising course instructors; mentoring graduate students; securing funding from various sources; conducting industry-sponsored research; developing a research program; and communicating research findings and impacts.
Key expertise areas include: architecture and design of heterogeneous embedded systems, software simulation and modeling tools, parallel processing and massively parallel architectures, real-time processing and systems, resource scheduling in embedded systems, and security of embedded systems. Other related specializations may be considered.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a relevant field; membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or steps to obtain it; research experience with industry or solid R&D experience; strong teaching abilities; proficiency in training highly qualified personnel; and French language proficiency or commitment to learn it.
