Description The Academy of Zamość (Akademia Zamojska) is looking for a professor in Pedagogy - Educational Sciences. The candidate should meet the following criteria: - hold a postdoctoral degree in pedagogy, - have experience in conducting research in the fields of pedagogy, the history of education, paedagogy, prevention and social rehabilitation, - have at least ten years’ experience as an academic teacher in delivering courses in, amongst others: the history of upbringing and education, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate seminars, - have a body of academic work in the field of pedagogy, - have experience in implementing ministerial and international research projects, - have experience as an editor of academic journals, - have experience in organising conferences at national and international level, - have experience as a supervisor of bachelor’s and master’s theses. Specific Requirements The competition is open to candidates who meet the conditions set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, as amended) in the Statutes of the Zamość Academy and the Rules of Procedure of the Zamość Academy. The outcome of the competition will be announced by 30 September 2026.
