student advisement; committee work for the Program and the College. Assist with skills lab testing. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or the Dean, Health Sciences Division.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and willingness to pursue a graduate degree in nursing at a minimum rate of six (6) semester hours/calendar year. Registered Nurse holding a valid non-restricted license to practice in the state of Oklahoma. Two (2) years full-time equivalent in a clinical setting prior to first date of employment as a nursing faculty member. Light lifting up to 10 lbs. and light carrying up to 10 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing. Experience in medical-surgical nursing, critical care, women's and children's health and/or psych-mental health. Previous teaching experience in a program of nursing education; experience teaching online coursework.
