Description
The Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Chicago invite applications for a tenured Professor position.
The appointee will be expected to:
- Conduct research in theoretical chemistry and computational materials science.
- Submit research findings for publication.
- Attend national and international conferences and professional meetings.
- Conduct graduate and undergraduate courses.
- Advise students and mentor postdoctoral researchers.
This position is benefits-eligible. Information regarding benefits can be provided upon request. The position may also be eligible for a taxable moving allowance and housing support.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field.
- Qualify for appointment at the rank of full Professor with tenure.
