expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. Minimum Qualification
- Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Special Education, Gifted Education, Inclusive Education, or a closely related field from an accredited and highly reputable institution.
- Academic qualifications and scholarly record appropriate for appointment at the rank of Full Professor.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level.
- Strong record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated experience in advising graduate students and supervising theses and/or dissertations.
- Evidence of academic leadership, research leadership, and professional service.
- Proficiency in English language.
Preferred Qualification
- Distinguished publication record in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong research impact profile, including citation indicators and h-index appropriate to the field and rank.
- Evidence of successful internal and external research funding.
- International collaborations with universities, research centers, and professional organizations.
- Experience in program development, accreditation, graduate education, or academic leadership.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as inclusive education, gifted education, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, assistive technology, twice-exceptional learners, assessment and intervention, or teacher preparation.
- Knowledge of the UAE education system and culture is a plus.
- Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus.
