Full-Time

The Department of Economics and Business at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a full time "Professor of Practice" to begin Fall 2026. This role is designed for an experienced professional with demonstrated expertise in marketing, especially in sports marketing and sales marketing. Secondary fields could include general business management (e.g., human resource management, sports management, etc.) including statistics. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Additional responsibilities include advising undergraduate students and other tasks the Economics and Business Department's may need. The Professor of Practice carries a 4/4 teaching load; hence the appointment emphasizes teaching excellence and professional engagement rather than research. Candidates should bring practical insights from industry and the ability to translate those experiences into dynamic, applied classroom learning.

Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Frutos-Bencze, Chair of the Department of Economics and Business via the college website. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the department faculty assistant, Cathy Sirois (csirois@anselm.edu). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Priority will be given to applications received by November 15, 2025.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in marketing or a related business field
  • Ability to engage students to maximize learning
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Applicable practitioner experience

Successful candidates will be able to assist the college in advancing its mission and strategic priorities, which includes institution-wide diversity and inclusiveness.
