for the post of Professor of the Academy of Music in the field of Art, in the specialisation of Composition
at the Institute of Composition and Music Theory
in the Faculty of Composition, Conducting, Vocal Studies, Music Theory and Artistic Education

Skills/Qualifications
Eligible candidates must::
- fulfil the criteria set forth in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668; hereinafter referred to as “the Act”)
- hold a Full Professor’s degree in the field of Art, discipline: Musical Arts
- demonstrate significant achievements in their artistic work and experience in teaching;
- be qualified to teach courses in Electroacoustic Composition, Acoustics, Computer Music, Tools and Systems for Computer Music, Live electronics – design and creative projects, Sound Design.
- be fluent in written and spoken Polish and English.

- Diploma of higher education with a Master degree and a certified copy of the diploma certifying the holder's postdoctoral degree in Composition and Music Theory, in the field of Art, discipline: Musical Arts
- Information on academic, artistic and teaching achievements and knowledge of foreign languages
- Statement of Legal Compliance confirming fulfilment of the requirements specified in Article 113(1) of the Act, including the conditions set forth in Article 20(1), points 1–3 (full legal capacity, public rights, no criminal record for intentional offenses or fiscal crimes)

Selection process
The Academy reserves the right to reject an application without stating the reason. The deadline for submission of applications is 7th September 2026. The competition results will be announced no later than 14th September 2026.
