Position: The Institute of Neuroscience (INS) at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Taiwan invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank or higher.
Description: The INS is a premier neuroscience research institute in Taiwan. Over the past 40 years, the institute has created an inter-disciplinary neuroscience research environment and has established a track record of research excellence. In addition, the NYCU campus is host to the biggest neuroscience research community in Taiwan. More information about our institute can be found at http://ins.nycu.edu.tw
The Institute seeks outstanding candidates with research expertise in all disciplines of neuroscience. Successful candidates will be expected to develop energetic, creative, independent research programs.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent earned doctoral degree) in neuroscience or related fields, and relevant post-doctoral research experience. Candidates should be fluent in English. Applications will be reviewed beginning March. 1st, 2026 (12pm GMT+8). The candidate is expected to start the position on Feb 1st, 2027 in principle.
