Reporting to the More Than A Job NC Education Navigator, the Program Assistant provides administrative and navigation support for More Than A Job NC program activity. Administrative support includes handling website referrals to complete the program eligibility process, complete enrollment paperwork with program participants, document student activities (class attendance) and supports, attend program meetings and trainings with the Education Navigator, and attend outreach events. Education Required: Associate's Degree, Business Administration, Office Management, or related field from an institutionally accredited college/university. Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration, Office Management, or related field from an institutionally accredited college/university. KSA Required: Manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. Respect diversity and foster a climate of multicultural understanding and appreciation. Work independently with reliable professional judgement. Adapt to changing procedures, protocols, or assignments. Create and maintain a learner centered environment. Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality, both written and orally, with all levels of staff and administration. Develop and maintain comprehensive written and computer records. Exceptional presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. KSA Preferred: Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor Be adaptable and flexible in managing tasks Promote the interest of the College, NCDHHS , and Guilford County DSS , in all formal and informal community contacts. Department/Job Specific Requirements: Must pass a background check. The following (compliance) training is required and must be completed within the first 30 days of hire with annual refresher training thereafter: Ethics Safety/Shooter on Campus Personal Information Protection Training ( PIP ) Anti-Discrimination/Harassment & Title IX Other training may be required as determined applicable.
