- Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis for six (6) months
- Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)
- Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply. Please note that current staff wishing to be considered for secondment to this position must seek prior approval from their supervisor before submitting an application.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Program Coordinator (2 Positions Available) to join Alumni and Engagement, Engagement, Chancellery Division.
This position presents an opportunity for a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to provide high-quality student and academic administration support across a portfolio of continuing professional education programs. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and delivery of administrative services across open programs and client professional education programs. The role supports assigned programs within a matrix team environment and works collaboratively with academic staff, professional staff, participants, and corporate and government clients across the University.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a client outcome-focused team in a diverse environment and to support harmonious and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute to new ideas, critically evaluate current systems and processes and contribute to continuous improvement in the provision of student and academic services at a strategic level.
- High level written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, complex correspondence and meeting agenda and minutes.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management and ability to prioritise and carry out activities in order to produce quality deliverables in an environment characterised by tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a client-focussed team, building harmonious and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Experience and knowledge of data management systems including SAMS, Canvas Credentials, Academic Database, DEP (CRM); and demonstrated analytical and digital literacy skills with the ability to use a range of software including Microsoft office suite.
