Department Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
- Serves as the point of contact for all tour-related needs.
- Delivers presentations to student groups and prospective families
- Serves as the supervisor and hiring manager for campus tour and Welcome Center student assistants
- Schedules campus tours and ensures they are staffed appropriately
- Organizes and implements customer service training and personal development components for student employees
- Advises and counsels current and future students by answering questions, providing information on the admissions process, and tracking and monitoring prospective student files
- Arranges group tours and coordinates with Parking, Campus Services, Housing, and other applicable campus partners as required
- Oversees the front desk at the Kennesaw Campus Welcome Center and spends at least one (1) day a week at the Marietta Campus to facilitate tours
- Performs administrative duties (i.e., monitoring and responding to call tickets and campus visit and group tour emails) and handles walk-ins, assist with department events such as Open House
Job Summary
Plans and implements program initiatives for the assigned college, department, and/or unit. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
Responsibilities
- Develops, plans, and coordinates the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s)
- Oversees and administers all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or departments
- Serves as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters relating to program and/or department activities
- Provides, administers, and/or coordinates the provision of technical guidance, consultation, and related support to clientele within area of program focus
- Assists with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals and may be responsible for the program or department's purchasing card (PCard)
- Prepares and delivers presentations and collateral for program and/or department and events
- Coordinates and administers the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data, prepares comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries
- May coordinate, administer and monitor social media presence and program outreach
- May supervise and/or lead assigned staff and/or students assistants
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Required Experience
One (1) years of related work experience

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with program development and coordination
Previous experience in higher education
