Position Summary
The Program Coordinator serves as a vital, key member of the Health Promotion & Wellness Services (HPWS) team at University Health Services (UHS). The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall operational and organizational needs of the Duck Nest wellness center through supporting its facility, programs, services, and engaging stakeholders. This position provides supervision and administrative support for health promotion efforts occurring in the newly renovated Duck Nest wellness center.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- One year of professional experience in public health, health education, public health policy, health promotion, or related field

- Communication skills that contribute to successful collaborations with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members
- Ability to coordinate health-related programs and/or activities
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Operational and space management skills
- Data and documentation skills
- Time and priority management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supervising, coaching, or coordinating student employees
- Experience in planning and coordinating health-related programs
- Two years of professional experience in student services, student affairs, educational healthcare, a Dean of Students office, or a related area on a college campus
- Direct experience supporting diverse student populations, applying equity-minded, inclusive practices in programming and space management
- Experience managing programmatic budgets and using data to guide programming decisions and budget allocations
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, public health policy, health promotion, liberal arts/humanities, or related field
