Duties typically include assisting with grant planning and administration, fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions, program implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative liaison, program marketing, and reporting.

Working closely with the Director and Associate Director of the UM Institute for the Arts, this position provides comprehensive operational and communications support for interdisciplinary initiatives, programs, public events, and community partnerships. As the Institute’s primary staff coordinator, this role ensures continuity, professionalism, and organizational effectiveness across all Institute activities.
The Program Coordinator serves as the administrative backbone of the Institute, enabling leadership to focus on strategic vision, academic innovation, and external engagement.
