Assist with event logistics including space reservations,
contracts, catering, travel arrangements, and technical
needs.
Maintain organized records, databases, and reporting
systems.
Monitor timelines and project milestones to ensure initiatives
remain on schedule.
Communications & Public Visibility
- Serve as the primary communications coordinator for the
Institute (faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community
partners).
- Facilitate communication among departments of Art & Art
History, Music, and Theatre & Film related to Institute
initiatives.
- Draft and distribute newsletters, announcements, press
releases, and internal communications.
- Manage website updates and social media platforms.
- Coordinate marketing materials for programs, public events, and
signature initiatives.
- Support storytelling efforts that highlight faculty, student,
and community accomplishments.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging aligned with the
university.
- Support grant submissions and reporting processes in
collaboration with university offices.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for
college and university leadership.
Program & Event Support
- Provide administrative support for interdisciplinary
programs.
- Coordinate logistics for community-facing events.
- Support visiting artists, speakers, and partners with
scheduling and hospitality arrangements.
- Assist with tracking participation, engagement data, and event
outcomes.
- Support experiential learning initiatives, internships, and
partnership agreements as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, communications,
business, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative coordination or
operations management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects with attention to detail
and deadlines.
- Proficiency with office software, website content management
systems, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
with diverse stakeholders.
- Graphic design and/or digital communications skills.
- Experience in higher education and nonprofit
organizations.
- Familiarity with university budget and procurement
systems.
- Experience supporting public events and community engagement
initiatives.
