Coordinate administrative processes related to student housing
operations, including application processing, occupancy management,
resident records, and departmental documentation;
Assist with resident check-in, check-out, and transition
processes, ensuring compliance with housing policies and
procedures;
Support the communication and implementation of Residential
Life policies, procedures, and programs to residents and
stakeholders;
Bill and track housing charges, payments, and serve as the
primary point of contact for receiving Residential Life
payments;
Coordinate office operations, including scheduling,
correspondence, recordkeeping, inventory management, and
maintenance of departmental files and systems;
Assist with the planning, coordination, and assessment of
Residential Life programs, events, and initiatives that support
student engagement and success;
Serve as a resource for students by responding to inquiries,
resolving routine concerns, and referring complex issues to
appropriate staff;
Collaborate with campus departments and external partners to
support housing operations and resident services;
Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports, communications, and
other materials related to Residential Life operations;
Participate in staff meeting, training programs, professional
development opportunities, and other departmental activities;
and
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; and
- Two (2) years of full-time clerical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent education from an
institutionally accredited college or university;
- Experience working in higher education; and
- Bilingual and biliterate in English and in Spanish.

Terms of Employment
This position is a full-time, overtime eligible classified staff
position. The typical work hours for this position are Monday
through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00
a.m. to 12:00 p. m., however, must be available to work a flexible
schedule when prior notice is given by the College. This position
is available immediately.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is
frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate,
reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility
including having the ability to move materials on a regular basis
such as files, books, office equipment, etc. and travel between
buildings on campus. Manual dexterity and coordination are required
to operate equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and
standard office equipment.
Working Conditions
Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work area
is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal
interruptions, and background noises.
