"Program Coordinator"

Under the general direction of the Program Supervisor and the Pediatric Cardiology Director of Cardiac MRI, the Program Coordinator must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with staff and faculty in a complex environment. A high degree of independence, initiative, assertiveness, and diplomacy are necessary in daily practice. Analytical and practice support will be provided for the Cardiac and "3D+" practices by supporting the Pediatric Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program, UCSF's Center for Advanced 3D+ Technologies (CA3D+), and other nursing/physician clinical support as needed. The position will identify and implement operational improvements to ensure high quality service to patients.

Applies broad knowledge of clinical, regulatory, and operational practices to implement and monitor the operations of the Pediatric Cardiac MRI program and CA3D+ including clinical scheduling, insurance authorizations, documentation, financial reporting, IT systems, facilities and procedures are compliant and meet clinical standards.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
