- Implements new programs and projects and monitors ongoing activities of department or center.
- Reviews department policies and processes and implements improvements as needed.

Position Summary:
The Director of the WCE Cohort Program serves as leader and steward of the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship's signature student experience. This role is responsible for leading and continuously enhancing a transformational cohort experience that develops entrepreneurial leaders of character, purpose, and impact. The Director oversees the full student lifecycle—from recruitment and selection through induction, graduation, and alumni engagement—ensuring that every student is challenged to grow personally, professionally, and entrepreneurially. Through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and program leadership, this individual helps shape future business leaders while preserving and advancing the culture, standards, and reputation that have made the Wolff Center one of the nation's premier entrepreneurship programs. This position plays a critical leadership role within the Center and works closely with students, faculty, mentors, alumni, donors, business leaders, and community partners to create a life-changing educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the complete WCE cohort experience from student recruitment and selection through induction, development, graduation, and alumni transition.
- Create a highly engaging environment that inspires students to pursue excellence in leadership, entrepreneurship, service, and personal growth.
- Establish and uphold student standards, expectations, accountability, professionalism, and discipline.
- Coach and mentor students through academic, professional, and personal challenges.
- Co-teach WCE Leadership and Values courses and contribute to the educational experience of students.
- Coordinate cohort program course schedules, assignments, projects, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain mentors for each student cohort.
- Develop mentor engagement strategies that deepen mentor participation and student impact.
- Serve as a bridge between students and the entrepreneurial community.
- Support students in career preparation, professional development, networking, and workplace readiness.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the planning, coordination, and execution of all major WCE events and experiences, including student Induction, retreats, mentor events, donor appreciation, and graduation.
- Ensure all events reflect the excellence, professionalism, and culture of the Wolff Center while delivering meaningful experiences for students, alumni, mentors, donors, and community partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with WCE alumni.
- Supervise and develop Program Managers/Scholars in Residence or other team members who support program cohorts.
- Establish goals, priorities, and performance expectations for team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development efforts.
- Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and operational processes associated with cohort programs.
- Collaborate with other WCE directors and university stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Required
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership development, entrepreneurship, higher education, or related fields.
Preferred
• Experience teaching or facilitating leadership development programs.
• Experience working with entrepreneurs, founders, executives, or business leaders.
• Experience with mentor, alumni, or community engagement programs.

MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
