The Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is the first international independent university in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Our approach combines theory and practice following the renowned "Work-Integrated University-Industry Collaborative Talent Training Model."

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the BA program "Business Information Systems"
- Responsible for curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement to ensure alignment with international standards and industry needs
- Coordinate course offerings, teaching assignments, and academic workload planning within the program
- Teach core and advanced courses in areas such as business information systems, digital business, enterprise systems, business process management, and digital transformation
- Supervise bachelor theses
- Conduct and lead high-quality research in digital strategy, digital transformation, business analytics, competing in the age of AI, or closely related fields
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with industry, government, and professional bodies
- Represent the program in national and international academic networks and conferences
Job Qualifications
- PhD in Business Information Systems, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Digital Business or closely related discipline with a profound background in digital transformation
- Demonstrated expertise in the intersection of business administration and information technology
- International academic experience and a strong international professional network preferred
- Scholar with recognized research record, evidenced by publications in leading journals and conferences preferred
- Research expertise in areas such as AI in Business, Business Analytics, Digital Platforms, Enterprise Systems, or Business Process Management
- Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching.
- Proven experience in academic leadership and coordination roles
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and leadership
- English is required (C1); German is desirable
