Position PurposeManages programs and program delivery, events, center operations, marketing activities, and stakeholder engagement for the Tuck Center for Entrepreneurship in accordance with Tuck's mission, strategy, and institutional priorities. Serves as a key operational and programmatic partner to the Director, ensuring the successful execution of student programs, alumni engagement initiatives, entrepreneurial ecosystem activities, and strategic center priorities.
DescriptionThe Program Manager serves as the operational and programmatic backbone of the Center for Entrepreneurship, supporting the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio including fellowships, internships, experiential learning opportunities, events, and community engagement initiatives. Working closely with the Director and colleagues across Tuck and Dartmouth, this role coordinates communications, logistics, stakeholder engagement, and program operations to deliver high-quality experiences that connect students with founders, investors, alumni, and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. We seek an exceptionally organized professional with strong project management and communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively, balancing multiple priorities, and building productive relationships across a variety of constituencies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and motivated by creating outstanding experiences for students, alumni, faculty, and external partners. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs ExpBachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities - Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in program management, event planning, project management, operations, marketing, communications, or related professional work. Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills. Experience using technology platforms to support communications, event management, data management, marketing, and operational workflows. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments and organizations. Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate and exceed stakeholder expectations. Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Commitment to supporting a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and limited travel in support of programs and events. Preferred Qualifications - Experience managing student-facing programs in higher education, entrepreneurship, innovation, experiential learning, or related environments.
- Interest in or familiarity with entrepreneurship, startups, venture capital, innovation, small business development, or entrepreneurial education.
- Experience working with alumni, founders, mentors, investors, or external stakeholder communities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Dartmouth driver certification

Program and Event Management: - Planning (20%): With guidance from the Center Director, develops and implements comprehensive plans to achieve Center program and event objectives. Creates project plans and timelines; coordinates budgets, logistics, communications, registrations, and stakeholder engagement; and maintains Center calendars and planning resources. Collaborates with colleagues across Tuck and Dartmouth to ensure successful execution of programs and initiatives.
- Delivery and Evaluation (25%): Manages all aspects of program execution, including participant registration, communications, scheduling, venue coordination, catering, travel arrangements, evaluation processes, and production of digital and printed materials. Provides on-site and virtual event management, resolves participant issues, supervises support staff and vendors, and ensures a high-quality experience for students, alumni, speakers, mentors, and guests. Uses program feedback and engagement data to assess outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Marketing (10%): Creates and distributes promotional, educational, and program-related content across print, digital, web, email, and social media channels. Collaborates with Tuck Communications and partner organizations to ensure consistent messaging, effective promotion, and strong visibility for Center programs and initiatives.

Center Operations and Project Management: - Oversees Center operations, including budget administration, vendor relationships, expense management, procurement activities, business systems administration, and record management.
- Maintains and develops data resources related to student and alumni engagement, founders, investors, mentors, and industry contacts.
- Leads and supports cross-functional projects that advance Center priorities and collaborates with colleagues across Tuck, Dartmouth, and external partner organizations to deliver shared initiatives and opportunities for students.
- May collaborate with organizations including the Magnuson Center, ARMI, Thayer School, Technology Transfer Office, and other entrepreneurship partners.
