Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates programs and events with campus-wide impact on the behalf of the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) to enhance the overall experience of all undergraduate and graduate students.
- Oversees a curriculum-based model for student engagement from admission to graduation. Duties include coordination, planning, and execution of campus-wide programs and events to enhance the student experience on behalf of DSA. Captures and tracks all University interactions with students from acceptance to graduation and compiles trends and develops recommendations to Director and Division Leadership based on assessment of this data. Works closely with various DSA and campus departments, student organizations, and vendors. Prepares annual budget request and monitors allocation on a regular basis. Actively seeks feedback from faculty, staff, and students to enhance program outcomes and meet students' evolving needs. Serves on other Division and University committees upon request and assists with special projects as assigned.
- Responsible for the administrative management of the NASPA and Noles Undergraduate Fellow Program (N2UFP) and Careers in Student Affairs Month (CSAM) activities. Supports mentorship program including fellows and mentor recruitment efforts, plans monthly meetings, and coordinates fellows travel. Ensures N2UFP and CSAM website and materials are updated on a regular basis.
- Plans events and meetings on behalf of the Undergraduate Student Experience Strategy (USES) group. Schedules regular meetings, prepares agendas and minutes, and coordinates communication as needed. Assists in facilitation of milestone programs for student including, but not limited to Hello FSU, Welcome FSU, and Farewell FSU.
- Supervises the Media Specialist position. Works closely with the DSA and CARE Marketing Team to develop and implement a training plan that aligns with Division marketing standards. Oversees the vision and communication to incoming and returning students and their families including integrated marketing campaigns and social media.
- Works with the Graduate Student Resource Center, Council of Graduate Students, and Transfer Student Services Office to develop and implement student experience opportunities and initiatives across campus for these respective populations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years experience related to academic and/or student services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years in the same.
