In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $70,000.00 Annually
Maximum: $80,000.00 Annually
Job Summary
The Program Manager plays an integral role in contributing to the overall success of the Office of Alumni Engagement and University Experience. As part of a world-class team, the successful candidate will enhance alumni engagement efforts regarding the student (prospective and current), donor, and stakeholder experience. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement, he/she will be responsible for supporting all programs that enhance awareness and encourage and increase participation in University events, while engaging in community activities that support the University’s mission and strategic goals.
Emphasizing work with Alumni Engagement and all stakeholders, as determined by the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement. In addition to her/his work with the Office of Alumni Engagement, the Program Manager will maintain effective working relationships with all University stakeholders and work to build strong partnerships with these groups.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Experience and skill in supporting a complex program within a corporate or major university setting.
- Skill in communicating persuasively, both orally and in writing.
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of sales strategies and techniques in the cultivation of potential partners, preferably with previous exposure to a major research university environment.

Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in supporting world-class, high performing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of Travel and Expense platforms.
