As a Program Officer in the Academic Support Office at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a crucial role in delivering key student experience initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to coordinate the Melbourne Peer Mentor Program and support the Arts Leadership Community, working closely with diverse stakeholders to enhance student engagement and success. This role offers you the chance to directly impact student wellbeing and development while gaining valuable experience in program management and administration within a leading academic institution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver Student Experience Programs: Coordinate the Melbourne Peer Mentor Program and support the Arts Leadership Community, ensuring smooth operation and student engagement.
- Provide Administrative Support: Manage program data, respond to enquiries, and maintain accurate records using enterprise-wide platforms.
- Monitor and Report Program Effectiveness: Track student participation, gather feedback, and provide insights to improve program outcomes.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with faculty colleagues and university-wide networks to support key student experience activities.
You may be a great fit if: You are a dedicated professional with a bachelor's degree and relevant experience, possessing excellent communication and organisational skills, and a passion for enhancing the student experience in a university setting.
You may also: Have a bachelor's degree with relevant experience in administrative or student services roles. Possess strong proficiency in enterprise systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Have experience working collaboratively in a team environment. Show a commitment to improving student experiences and wellbeing. Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
