Manage project/event logistics including vendor coordination,
catering, audiovisual services, venue setup, registration systems,
attendee arrangements, signage, and on-site execution
Conduct tours of the Protoplex facility for visiting industry
partners, prospective collaborators, event attendees, and other
stakeholders, serving as a knowledgeable representative of the
facility's capabilities, equipment, and mission
Support and implement existing marketing and communication
plans by executing tactics, maintaining timelines, and ensuring
consistent messaging to targeted audiences.
Work closely with the university marketing and communications
team to ensure all Protoplex project/event promotion, marketing,
and communications activities align with university marketing
strategies and brand standards.
Maintain and update Protoplex social media accounts, including
capturing photography and video from events and activities and
produce and maintain content for the Protoplex website including
event information, project updates, and the tour calendar.
Coordinate with the Industry Engagement Officer to ensure
project/event planning aligns with stakeholder engagement
strategies, industry partnership goals, and workforce development
initiatives through a dotted-line reporting relationship.
Support the Industry Engagement Officer and Protoplex
leadership in hosting visiting delegations and high-profile
guests.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of Protoplex
projects, programs, and outreach activities.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge
and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, project management,
or a related field.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established
as $18.87-$26.87 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not
limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education,
skills, and experience, as well as organizational
requirements.
