Job Summary
Coordinate and provide professional and administrative support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Faculty and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: Faculty and staff. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
- Job Duty 1 - Plan, execute and provide assistance for meeting and event logistics and scheduling
- Job Duty 2 - Establish schedules, oversee arrangements and provide logistics support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives
- Job Duty 3 - Evaluate, assess and report on the feasibility and sustainability of potential programs, projects and initiatives
- Job Duty 4 - Provide necessary support related to the identification and execution of adopted unit programs/projects and other unit initiatives
- Job Duty 5 - Develop, arrange/coordinate meetings and project materials for distribution, as necessary
- Job Duty 6 - Compile, organize and analyze data for use in reports for targeted programs/projects and other unit initiatives
- Job Duty 7 - Monitor and update appropriate stakeholders of progress/milestones for program/project objectives
- Job Duty 8 - Perform other duties as assigned
Job Specific Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events from start to finish, including lectures, symposia, recruitment events, faculty searches, final reviews, and faculty meetings. Supports communications efforts such as email campaigns and promotional materials; coordinates with the College of Design Events Coordinator and Administrative Manager on event logistics and expense tracking. Serves in a public-facing role, including managing the Chair's calendar, and is available to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is preferred 5 or more years of job-related experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and organization skills. The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and/or within a team environment.
Additional KSAs
Experience with university HR, procurement, and financial systems (such as Workday or similar platforms); proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications; strong organizational and project coordination skills; ability to effectively collaborate with College Business and HR offices; and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Grade: A7
Pay Range Starting At: $23.70/hr up to $32.24/hr
