Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington are currently recruiting two Programme Coordinators to join the Kāpuhipuhi Wellington Uni-Professional team in a permanent, full-time position based in Wellington.
The Programme Coordinator plays a key operational role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of Wellington Uni-Professional’s short courses, micro-credentials and programmes. This is primarily an operational, office-based role responsible for coordinating programme logistics, preparing learning materials, liaising with facilitators and participants, and supporting the successful delivery of learning events both on campus and at external venues.
Working closely with Programme Managers and the wider operations team, the Programme Coordinator ensures programmes run smoothly from planning through to delivery and evaluation.

You will be a highly organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and delivering high-quality operational support.
We welcome and value candidates with competency in te reo Māori and an understanding of tikanga Māori,
Key requirements:
- Experience in programme coordination, event coordination or operational administration.
- Strong organisational and logistical coordination skills.
- Experience supporting events, training programmes or learning activities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong administrative and systems capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of te reo Māori, tikanga Māori or Māori cultural capability.
- Pacific or other cultural competency and/or language.
