Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to matters pertaining to the Master of Arts in Chinese Programme administration including student admission, progression, data management and teaching support
- Provide secretarial support to committees and meetings
- Provide front-line support to the office
- Coordinate Programme organised conferences and events
- Coordinate the Programme publicity, including posters, website and social media
- Liaise with internal and external parties to provide logistic support to the Programme
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Be required to work outside normal office hours occasionally
Requirements
- A recognized bachelor’s degree or above
- Two years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of competence in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Chinese word processing and knowledge of updating and maintaining website
- Ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
