Department Summary
The Student Information Systems team is responsible for the administration, support, enhancement, and integration of the University's enterprise student information systems, centered on Banner. The department partners with academic and administrative offices to deliver reliable technology solutions that support the full student lifecycle, including admissions, registration, records, financial aid, student accounts, and graduation.

Typical Allocation of Duties:

• Determine functional needs and requirements - 25% Work with management to determine functional needs and requirements.
• Coordinate and lead - 25% Provide guidance and support to less-experienced programmers.
• Project documentation - 10% Complete and maintain project documentation.
• Develop applications and other tools - 25% Develop application specifications and determine best tools or methods to satisfy those needs and requirements.
• Monitor functionality - 15% Stay current on application functionality by reviewing documentation and reading visiting user community websites.
