Project Administrator
A unique opportunity to play a role in a high priority programme of clinical research related to a new medical device.
About the role
This role is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) to provide administrative support to a five-year clinical research programme. You will work closely with a Project Manager to support teams contributing to various elements of the programme and help ensure the successful delivery of its aims.
The role involves working collaboratively with researchers, research delivery teams, the funder, and patient representatives, supporting effective coordination and communication across the programme.
Key tasks will involve:
- Administrative support to the programme's project manager and chief investigators
- Coordinating meetings, and organising their agendas and minutes
- Communicating between the programme's teams and investigators
- Assisting with the production of documents and reports for the programme's funder

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
We’re currently unable to sponsor this role under the Skilled Worker visa route. However, we welcome applicants who already have the right to work in the UK, including those on visa routes we can accept (e.g. Graduate visas).
What we’re looking for
You will have:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint and databases
- Ability to work autonomously to the programme's deadlines.
