This position will coordinate various aspects of the project, including design development, documentation, construction oversight, and ensuring compliance with building codes, zooming regulations and other legal requirements. Duties may include: Lead capital design and construction projects from inception to completion, including developing project plans, timelines and budgets Create innovative and functional architectural, engineering, and environmental designs that meet the university?s requirements, regulatory standards and budgetary constraints Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, professional consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders Prepare and review planning, architectural, engineering, landscape architectural, and other proposals, drawings, specifications and construction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness Identify and resolve design, construction, and technical issues that may arise during a project, ensuring timely and effective solutions Provide leadership and guidance to team members Other duties as assigned
