Organization Profile: National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal or NITW) is a public technical and Research University located in Warangal, India. It is recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The foundation stone for this institute was laid by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. The institute was renamed as the National Institute of Technology, Warangal in 2002 and 1959 B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) was started with an intake of 50 students and 1968 M.Tech. (Transportation Engineering) was started.

Research Position: Project Assistant

Title of the Project: Advanced Transport Modelling and Simulation for National Highways in India

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: MoRTH-GoI

Essential Qualifications: BSc in Computer Science or BCA with First Class/Division.

Desirable Qualifications: MSc in Computer Science or MCA with First Class/Division; A prior knowledge in Data analysis/Python/MS-office; Proficiency in English speaking, file management and good analytical ability and competency in writing skills.

Project Duration: 36 months

Stipend: Rs 18000/- per month consolidated amount
