Organization Profile: The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission.

Job Title: Project Assistant

Employment Type: Temporary

Title: National Network Project of North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. Bio-prospecting of medicinally important two orchid species and Nepenthes khasiana virgin pitcher fluid: a step towards bio-inspired innovations.

Duration of the Project: 03 Years

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany/Plant Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or any relevant discipline of Life Sciences from recognized University with a minimum CGPA of 6 on 10 point scale, or minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale or not less than 55% marks in aggregate

Consolidate Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 20,000 + 9% HRA per month
