Job Title: Project Assistant

Department: Environmental Sciences

Title of the Project: Study of Fish Diversity and Socio-economic status of the local community of Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 15,000/- per month (No HRA).

Tenant of Position: 10 months from starting the project or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification: BSc or M.Sc in Environmental Science, Zoology, Wildlife Biology and Conservation Ecology

Desirable: i. Swimming skills in rivers and willingness to work in remote forest areas ii. Strong communication skills in English, both speaking and writing. iii. Strong foundational knowledge of field surveys, taxonomy, biodiversity, and ecology. iv. Working knowledge in ArcGIS Pro, SPSS, EcoStat, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
