Organization Profile: The Government of India founded the Central University of Tamil Nadu, along with eight other Central Universities, through an Act of Parliament in 2009. It is part of the greater role that the Central Government assumed in making higher education accessible to aspirants from the weaker sections of the society. With eight students in M.A. English Studies, the university started functioning from November 2009, at the Collectorate Annexe at Thiruvarur, 60 kilometers to the east of Thanjavur.

Job Title: Project Assistant

Project Title: Investigating the anti-neuroinflammatory activity of flavonoids and the underlying mechanism of action in microglial cells

Employment Type: Contract

Qualification: MSc / M.Tech in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Molecular biology and other relevant disciplines.

Candidate Profile: The candidate should complete PG in relevant discipline. Commitment towards work. Candidate should have Good Communication Skill.

Job Location: Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu

Tenant: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period (3 years), subject to satisfactory performance.

Desirable: Experience in a reputed research institute, animal cell culture and any other relevant molecular and cell biology work experience.

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 20,000+ 8% HRA
